Who can suggest me that the companies in USA that can provide me the paid reports of "market research" and "marketing survey" in infant furnishing (as stroller, high chair…etc)? And the companies are stable and believable.

can someone please tell what market segmentation is and why it is important within a business. I have googled it but none of what I found makes any sense. can someone please help me?

Market Segmentation.

Market Segmentation is the marketing process of identifying and breaking up the total market into groups of potential customers with similar motivations, needs or characteristics, who are likely to exhibit homogeneous purchase behaviour. Undertaking this process allows marketing efforts to be targeted at select groups. In determining their segmentation strategy, organisations can choose to pursue the whole market with a single offer (Mass Marketing), pursue only certain segments with specific offers (niche marketing) or pursue individual customers with specific offers designed just for them customisation).

The process enables a company to develop a suitable marketing mix for each of the chosen market segments. A Market Segment is a (relatively) homogeneous group of customers with similar characteristics, wants, needs or behaviours that is likely to respond similarly to a given marketing mix.

5 Ways or bases of market segmentation
1.Geographic Segmentation.
2.Demographic Segmentation (age, gender, income occupation etc).
3.Psychographic Segmentation (values, attitudes, social class, lifestyle and aspirations). Compare: value and benefits
4.Behavioural Segmentation (occasion, benefits sought, loyalty status, user status, buyer readiness).
5.Product differences.

3.Profile each segment.
4.Assess segment attractiveness.
5.Select target market.
6.Determine (marketing mix) for each segment.

Here is the research I did before choosing a company

1. I checked the BBB report on the company
2. I made them provide traffic and offer reports
3. I acted like a buyer on search engines and only inquired with easy to find, top ranked companies
4. I searched online for complaints about the company.

All this took me a couple hours (the final decision took days!)
I also posted on free sites at the same time and recommend you do the same as well.

Also, what would be aesthetically pleasing yet not look like such a cluster fluff. This would probably be like 500 to 1000 companies advertising any number of products and services. Or I would also take suggestions. Thanks.

The one site that comes to mind for making a large number of customers feel included is Yahoo! That’s what I said…. Yahoo! Yahoo! is the number #1 web portal in the world for shoppers. you will need to get Bonded,get health insurance if you have employees , in case of injuries you also need insurance , you will need more than 1 vehicle and this will cost you a lot for car insurance gas, license plates and maintenance ,you need to register your business , look into Incorporating if you do it’s a safer way to go but more expensive , in case things shouldn’t work out if you will have debts they wont come after your assets like your home or car. You will need a place or office to operate your business from therefore rent and insurance ,plus utilities , advertising is a must to promote the business .

Is anyone else outraged that they are recomending promotions be given to Women and people from Ethnic minoritys over white men to improve the national pay adverages.

Promotions should be given to the best workers or people with suitable qualifications REGARDLESS of gender or race

Equal pay for equal work (if possible). Many occupations require the strength of a man, while others don’t. It doesn’t matter what your color or gender may be, if you are capable of doing the same work, you should receive the same pay.
When we bend the bow and make concessions for a particular race or gender, we tend to be biased and partial.
I believe fairness should be an across the board thing.
