can you give me creative ways on how to advertise the service of an advertising company? i know its ironic but i need ideas. im quite puzzled
please no conventional ideas. i mean, please give fresh ideas not like tv ads or the like

Go to your target market and drop off materials. Espicially hit small businesses that cannot afford TV/Radio. In smaller towns (40-100k) there are not a lot of good regular advetising opportunities, and you will be surprised how many small businesses are looking for advertising opportunities. Be able to show how it will grow the business, and not just how they will give you money.
As a business owner, a lot of my job is meeting with people who can help the business grow, so ask for the owner. We are just regular people. Unless you are just focused on internet advertising, then just go away.

I have a potential job with Absolute Security (a dealer for ADT security systems) in their Promotions Department. I only got vague answers when asking what the actual job is. It starts with 2 days of paid training, at another location. Does anyone know, for sure, what I would be doing if I choose the job.

I would get in touch with them and get a better answer as to what the job is before I took it but it sounds more like sales to me

I have an TACORI ring that I’ve bought from QVC a while back. (Its not an engagement ring) Like most rings, they have a stamp inside that tells you where it came from.

In this case, the QVC ring is an original Tacori ring and also indicates that it’s from Thailand.

For those who have a Tacori ENGAGEMENT ring, do you have any other stamps besides the TACORI letterings in it?

no a tacori ring should only have it’s stamp of tacori on the inside and the metal type. other then that no other stamping stating where it was made.

I have a fax machine and I keep getting faxes advertising goods or services. When I get into my office at home, I find the faxes are already printed and I have paid for the printing myself when its about other people’s busnesses. Is this ethical? Can I do anything about it without incuring further costs? Can I send them a printing bill? How much would I have to charge?

I’m going on a business trip to Makati and received several pages of information from my boss. It includes information about business culture. I thought it was unusual though because it said that eye contact was inappropriate because it can be seen as confrontational. Also, it said that "no" is a very very negative word and sometimes "yes" or "maybe" can be used as "no". Are these true? I don’t want to offend.

I am a Filipino American and have lived in both places. Just expect for business dealings and/or negotiations here to take much more time so patience is the key!!! I have never found eye contact to be negative as long as it is not "mataray" or a sharp stare, otherwise you are fine. "Typical" Filipinos are very non-confrontational, therefore, they are not very direct and do not say exactly what they mean or in some cases, mean what they say. Just try to be courteous and hope for the same attitude to be reciprocated. Good luck…

I was thinking about starting up a family business. My husband likes gaming and computers. I like everything else. I was wondering if we start a big business can we have may different business in it? Like a store or something called.. A Little of This and That.

Why not but you will have to arrange alot of capital by applying for loans and make sure that your repayments are easy because in the start you will have to spend a lot and returns will take time to come.

Big family businesses have had successful stories right from the beginning of industrial age. I wish you guys all the best from the bottom of my heart.

The first step is to get experience in the industry

Then move into more contract work. Maybe some small jobs. Depends on what you specialise in.

You will build you business through word of mouth and then you can actually bother registering.
