how to advertise an advertising company?
can you give me creative ways on how to advertise the service of an advertising company? i know its ironic but i need ideas. im quite puzzled
please no conventional ideas. i mean, please give fresh ideas not like tv ads or the like
Go to your target market and drop off materials. Espicially hit small businesses that cannot afford TV/Radio. In smaller towns (40-100k) there are not a lot of good regular advetising opportunities, and you will be surprised how many small businesses are looking for advertising opportunities. Be able to show how it will grow the business, and not just how they will give you money.
As a business owner, a lot of my job is meeting with people who can help the business grow, so ask for the owner. We are just regular people. Unless you are just focused on internet advertising, then just go away.

What is your service?
advertise in unique way? Maybe you just can show how you would advertise to these potential clients.
You can start by develop creative name card, for example, it can be use as frame picture?
or you can ask everyone in your company to use some custom shoes that would give your advertising company logo in the shoe print. So every time its rainy day, every employee advertising your company. Or you can pour some special ink when come to your client to give presentation. (It will give surprise to them for sure. Just make sure that the shoe print can be easily cleaned, so your client won’t be pissed off.) :p
You can have custom-made ice cube shape in your advertising company logo, so every time you give drink to your client, they saw your logo in their drink.
There are so many creative unconventional ideas. You just need to have a break, relax, and gather those unique ideas.

No offense, but if you’re in the business of advertising another company’s products and you’re stumped for ways to gain attention for your own business, well, do I have to spell it out? Seems kind of weak from a potential client’s perspective. Telling someone you’re "creative" and your work is "good" is useless. Show them. Prove it. Asking for help as to how to do the job you want to be paid for is lame beyond belief.
