   Jim Boyd was fantastic on this skit. Two other good skits worth posting: the “Pest Patrol” skit with Boyd as an exterminator, and the “Two Chops” skit with Luis Avalos.

   I’d never seen this sketch before. What a treat!

   Looks like the writers were fans of Jim Henson’s brand of humor — if you want a good laugh, always use explosives.

    I love this sketch! I do not remember seeing it when I was a kid. By the way Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson are really good in the buckegt list. Just thought I would mention it.

    This one is so …
    This one is so brilliant it’s hard to know what to say about it. Interesting Melanie Henderson moment though: she appears to have been cast in adult roles alongside the adult cast far more often than any other short circus member, so much so that I often wonder if the powers behind the show were toying with the idea of eventually bringing her into the adult cast.

    I can’t find it in the catalog but I’m willing to bet money Joe was behind this one. The wacky muted trumpets and clackety clack Vaudevilliness of this is astounding… best of all, it’s insanely catchy, exactly like a quacky 1930s tin pan alley jingle. Ol’ Joe was VERY adept at those!
