YouTube tests advertising waters
Aug 22 - With over 130 million unique monthly visitors, Google’s YouTube is exercising its reach with advertisers. The video site is taking a plunge into video advertising with the likes of Warner and Ford Models.

i don’t know why people even go on youtube when you can go on veoh with no video limitations, no copyrighted crap and no advertisement. youtube really is ing me off lately with the poping ads in the videos.

company’s spend so …
company’s spend so much on advertising products that they have to raise the price of the same products they are advertising. Don’t they understand that a price tag in a store is the most effective advertisement. Me and wife work all week, we want to have fun, not spend are hard earned money on overpriced crap, when we can buy the knock offs and afford to go out and have fun. Advertising does not effect what products I buy in a store. THE FREAKING PRICE DOES!! STOP ANNOYING ME WITH ADDS!!!

If Youtube forces …
If Youtube forces ads onto your user created content they should have to pay you either for your video outright or for everytime they spam your video. Amount of compensation should be based on the number of hits you generate. Or people need to remove thier videos altogether and not make any more for youtube imo. Or they could do the right thing and not put ads on top of and in the view of the video.

All your trying to do is turn a freeinformation outlet into free cash for you. Youtube is popular because it is free and used to be adfree. NOw google bought it and we get ads. People like you are easy to deal with just block and flag and your done. But the google ads will always pop up and have to be manually closed out. Eventually we will have to find a new source of adfree communication and video sharing. Google is gonna be the downfall of youtube.

So if an advertisement appears on your personally created content, send the company the ad is for a bill for $500,000.
Other sites I visit have stopped embedding YouTube content because of these ads. The next video sharing site that doesn’t put ads in the videos will take over. YouTube is replaceable, as is Google and everyone else.

When are they going to come up with the spam button for THESE ads instead of the ads only on the comments section. Thats hippocracy! Now they have a window poppin up of the ad’s youtube page, lol, this is ridiculous. Im less likely to like the company in these cases as well! So its counterproductive.
