Are you very conscious and possessive about your identity , image and branding ?

whether on Y!A or other social networking forums , or at your workplace or with your friends do you care and nurture your image and identity and ensure that your branding is protected ? Or you just behave the way in which you want and enjoy life ?

no ,,,,,,i dont try to project any image of myself,,,or brand my-self ,,,,,,,or try to protect my brand,,,

my workplace guys and gals and my personal friends and even my mom and dad ,,,,,know me insideout,,,,,they know i tend to speak my mind,or as i see it ,,,,but they say ,you may sound rude sometimes,,,,but we like you the way you are,,,,,,

hence even if you or i attempt to project a brand of ourselves,,,,,,overtime the veneer will come crashing down,,,because people subconsiciously judge us and will sense the underlying signals which we tend to hide,,,,,

i just want to behave in a way appropriate to the situation,,,,,,and enjoy my stay on this earth,,,until i get coverted back in to the elements,,,,,

  1. Sad to say I don’t put enough attention to groom my image. I’m laid back and accept any obstacle or treat presented to me without making any commotion.

  2. I’m intrigued by your last question: "Or you just behave the way in which you want and enjoy life?"

Isn’t that the image you are trying to protect? I understand that you aren’t speaking about that particular identity, but if I do recall correctly, acting any other way would fit the concept of what people like to call a "fake" person. I’m not saying I believe in the concept, but that seems to be the impression your giving me.

In truth, it seems like a lot of people restrict themselves to maintaining a specific type of image. It is this that causes problems about people not being happy with themselves and their lives. If you don’t want that, then I suggest you just… be yourself.

  4. Identiy, image & branding very imp for celebrities and all arel not at top always for common man. One or combination at time. As every body thinks what ever they are really (like cheating, stealing, foul mouthing, irresponsible etc……..) they want to be labelled as the ideal person or most useful person around and wanted to be praised like that. Like celebrity girls spend days and nights with bf and claim they r only good friends. Means people know the truth about you at their heart, but express differently (because brain works).

To compensate all these, one would worry to maintain certain image and me too. Identity is generally not a threat at ordinary level in your locality. Branding too comes only after certain level. Image is the one we struggle to maintain. Although I am not very concious about all of them, certain times maintaining justice very strictly supercedes everything even at the cost of image.
