How did the right go from branding themselves to the party that commits terror?
The majority of terrorism on US soil this year has emanated from the Conservative faction and we tend to forget the 2nd worst attack on US soil was committed by a right wing American in Oklahoma.
I’d love to see the party of personal responsibility actually take some and move forward in a positive direction. Thoughts?
Lets start with "the majority of terrorism on US soil this year has emanated from the Conservative faction" well it’s 2009 correct, and the have been zero acts of terrorism on US soil. Wait maybe you meant 2008, yea that’s zero too, 2007? oh that’s zero again. Next lets say the unabomber was a right wing fanatic, so what? I’m sure you and your obviously open mind can understand that one man does not represent the views of an entire group of people. I mean I would never say that Stalin represents the views of all the left wing in this country. (although I think many of you would think that’s a compliment) I would love to see you try to think before you ask questions as ridiculous as this.
if you cant recognize the diffeence between a whole party of Americans and some crazy people with mental illness, then you need to brush up on your critical thinking skills

I think you are engaging in gross, partisan bickering. The Republican Party has not endorsed or supported any terrorism. You are saying that because certain terrorists (not the Unabomber, of course) have been conservative, the Republican Party deserves to share the blame for the terrorism that has been perpetrated. I congratulate you only for demonstrating how ugly political debate can get.

on the surface there is usually no overt call to arms, but the choice of how to report and what to report on is very slanted toward and supporting of groups that would certainly act on these same issues….Fox News, for example, not only reports the facts but pounds the viewers from several shows with the same right facing opinions and conveniently leaves out or under reports facts that do not support their opinion…..this propaganda creates a data base of hate…it creates a handy ready made belief system tailor made for use in rationalizing violent acts

the Oklahoma city federal building bombing was the single largest home grown terrorist act and commited by a group of right wing people….if there is a culture of attacks on people because of political or ehtnic reasons, that’s terrorism just as much as it is terrorism for an Arab to strap on bombs and blow himself up in a crowded market
