How long would I go to prison for branding a child in a classroom?

I’m a teacher, and i was wondering how long I would go to prison for branding a child. It will be my new method for waking up snoozers, and although it is probably illegal, i think it would be worth it.

Ummm… let’s see…
Child abuse…
Assault…
Aggravated assault…
Assault on a child…
Assault with a deadly weapon….

IDK… depends on what state you’re in I guess.
