What should I wear to a branding agency interview?

I have an interview lined up for a non-creative position (business development) with a branding agency. They specialize in branding, design, advertising, pr, etc…Is a suit too formal for this type of environment? I’ve never interviewed with an ad agency before so I’m not sure what the typical dress code is. Any advice is appreciated!

im going to go ahead and suppose ur a guy, so yeah…
Anyways, Working for an agency is a very uniform and serious job. Because your dealing with business, i suggest you dress formal, but not too formal as if your going to a wedding. I think its really depends on the authority your interviewing with, added with your age. If your a younger person, say like around 20, you can wear a white or black dress shirt, topped with a black/dark blue jacket from a suit (you can leave the suit jacket open), but dont put on a tie. Then unbutton the top 2 buttons from the dress shirt to add a casual look.
