    I always drum in …
    I always drum in shorts too. They’re much less restrictive and allow you more freedom to move your legs quickly. Plus sitting in exactly the same place for that long causes the back of your legs to sweat a lot, so having shorts allows more breathing space for your thighs to make this less noticable. A lot of players do it. Look at Joey from Slipknot, they all have big boiler suits but his is cut off at the knees and elbows otherwise he physically wouldn’t be able to move fast enough.
