    Hitler was a fascist before taking power. he achieved that power through fear. Fascism is the idea of state-first over the individual. McCain believes that the greatness of the state takes precedence over individual liberty. That is a form of fascism. Also, a great myth is to believe that Stalin was not fascist. While calling him a socialist might imply more than I intend, it is more accurate to describe his political ideology as socialist rather than democratic or liberal.

McCain “seeks to form a single-party government of a country led by a dictator, and seeks large-scale regimentation of society, the economy, and military.” Look at the $800Bil bailout. Look at the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan and watch for the one starting in Iran. McCain is in favor of a number of provisions to curtail our individual rights. Look at the NAU and National ID. These support a fascist goal.

Fascism is a totalitarian nationalist ideology that seeks to form a highly-centralized autocratic, single-party government of a country led by a dictator, and seeks large-scale regimentation of society, the economy, and military. McCain has never supported anything like that. He’s was not a good candidate and did not deserve to win, but he’s not a fascist. Horseshit like that obscures and prevents intelligent diagolue and problem-solving.

    Yes i noticed this but it must just be a small group of ANTI RON people logging in to this as often as they can or as often as the thumbs down will allow for them to give multiple negatives to the same comments which are from the only people making any sense like yourself. i would bet my life that any remark with 6 thumbs down has at least 3 of them from the same person. But i guess some people know their views are nonsense and do not have a better way of challenging all of RP supporters views.

    The bailout was horrible and both McCain and Obama voted for it.

    Every dollar of corporate debt is our responsibility to pay off now,
    Yet we don’t see a dime of corporate profits.

    This is by definition Social Fascism.

    Companies must rise and fall.
    It was a travesty for banks to give out sub prime loans.
