I have been a market research interviewer in uk for the past 10 years. How can i upgrade myself in the field?

Having done market research on the field for ten years i want to take my experience to 1.study something in the field for better job prospect or get a better job .
how do i go about this

Get client contact, get international secondment opportunities, do presentations to clients, work with board members.
