‘Why do people do Market Research and What are they hoping to find out?

Hi, I am doing a buisness project and one of the questions is: ‘Why do people do Market Research and What are they hoping to find out?’ Can you please help me answer this question. Thanks, I really appreciate your help!

That’s pretty obvious. Market research wants to know what you want to buy. Or what you are presently buying. Once they know that they can tailor their product, or their presentation, to more greatly appeal to the buying public.

  1. That’s pretty obvious. Market research wants to know what you want to buy. Or what you are presently buying. Once they know that they can tailor their product, or their presentation, to more greatly appeal to the buying public.

  2. it is also away to tell if what the person is doing is going to get votes or lose votes. For example people will call & ask if something that is in the news made them change their vote. it’s like getting on a scale so you know if you have to work harder to lose or gain weight if gauges progress.
