My little sister nags my parents saying she wants everything she sees in almost every ad, but she never actually pursues it and just says she wants it. Doesn’t really matter if she gets it or doesn’t get it, she might not even remember it after awhile.

if only this woman’s concern for what the constant stream of kids advertising is doing to little ones was as sizeable as her teeth, then there’d be some hope! time spent in front of the tv should be minimal. if you have kids, step up and be a parent - ie inspire through your action not lack of it. it really is that simple!!

There is a very effective way to combat this. Get rid of cable television in your home. I have two children, neither one of them nag for anything I haven’t subjected them to. I don’t set my kids in front of a T.V.
