Can I become an advertisement and promotions manager with a degree in architecture?

The demand for architects int he future is quite low. However, it is my biggest dream, so I will go for it.
My backup plan is to become an advertisement and promotions manager. Would the architecture degree I would have be good for the job?

There are no strict requirements for a job in marketing, but if you have relevant coursework, it would help. See if you can take some courses in marketing as electives, and it could even help you in your work in architecture.

Only in a related industry, if you had real life experienece in advertising/promotions, which would be hard to get without a dedicated degree, since you would be competing against other candidates who do. You need to talk to a career counsellor, either at the school or are attending or hope to attend for your degree before you commit to a major career choice (and subsesquent student loan).
