Basically being stupid isn’t an excuse to pull the race card when a person is upset that he or she didn’t get that promotion when they clearly lack the skill or capacity to hold that position. Seniority doesn’t instantly grant a thing: promotions are earned and some jobs require a defined set of requirements. If I recall, those at the fire dept are public servants. They want a pension, guaranteed income, and promotions yet some don’t do a thing to earn it.

When Race is no longer an issue America will be better off. Affirmative action is no longer necessary no matter who you are. Who cares what color/gender you are if you are the best at a particular job. I’m hiring THE BEST and the THE BRIGHTEST!!!
