Does tmobile give you promotions if you want to cancel your contract?

I have a T-Mobile contract and a year remaining ending in December 22,2010 and want to cancel it will tmobile give me promotions if i want to cancel? Im planning on moving to AT&T to get the iPhone 3GS.
