How to receive Credit Card Promotions in the mail?

I notice that when I receive promotions in the mail they usually send a better deal then on the internet. Most people don’t like receiving this in the mail. I was just wondering how I can get more of them sent to me.

For a while the banks slowed down on sending them while they were waiting to see what legislation was coming down. The offers have started flowing again. This morning I shredded about 30 of them that I have received in the past few weeks.

I agree with the first poster. Improve your credit. The credit bureaus sell information about you to the credit card companies. You will receive those offers only if you meet the credit card company’s criteria for receiving the offers. Keep in mind that preapproved offers don’t mean that you are pre-approved for credit. It only means that you are preapproved to receive the offer. If you chose to apply for credit, the credit card company will still need to check your credit to decide if you qualify.
