These activities include product displays, test rides and hospitality facilities. The hospitality facilities are typically for current owners and friends. There might even be free food and beverages. They might also have raffles for clothing or accessories, and free posters, stickers, etc... Once in a great while, but very seldom, there can be sales events with price discounts associated to the larger event. This does not happen often because the dealers are the ones that sell the bikes and the manufacturer would have to discount the price to the dealers as part of the promotion. It gets very messy because if one dealer gets a discount then other dealers want a discount too.
